Realtor
Phil Pierce is now into his fourth
year at Prudential Network Realty in Atlantic Beach, where
he has carved out a niche specializing in oceanfront homes, waterfront estates, country club properties, investment opportunities,
and pre-construction sales.
His
knowledge of the market, along with the time and commitment he makes to his clients, has made Pierce one of the top brokers
for Prudential in the First Coast.
Last
year Pierce sold more than $18 million in real estate. And despite the recent
slow-down in home sales, Pierce continues to stay busy – selling and listing homes with a dedication to service touted
by customers and colleagues alike.
“Customer
service is probably the most underrated tasks and it really makes the biggest difference in your success, whether you are
selling real estate or widgets,” Pierce said. “When it comes to sales,
customer service and marketing are the two most important elements in being successful.
And good customer service actually translates into marketing when a satisfied customer tells another buyer or seller
that they had a good experience.”
One
of his recent customers, Dean Billick, was referred to Pierce by his banker. Pierce
helped Billick and his family relocate from Ohio.
“He’s
by far one of the best realtors I’ve ever worked with,” said Billick, who has moved around the country through
his work in collage athletics. He also says he “hit it off with Phil right
away.”
“I
consider him a friend and a very professional agent, so I’m also not surprised that
he’s a top-selling agent, either,” Billick said.
Billick, like many other customers, also said Pierce was always available throughout the process.
But that’s just part of job for Pierce, who says he approaches selling real estate as a lifestyle – and
he enjoys it.
“I’m very dedicated because I really live in this business,” Pierce said. “And
I’m selling living in paradise. The quality of life here is fantastic and
that’s what most people are looking for in a home.”
Pierce’s
enthusiasm for the real estate business isn’t lost on Michelle Mousin, a community sales manager for Prudential Network
Realty at Marina San Pablo.
“You
can tell Phil has a joy for the real estate industry that is evident and he’s also a really engaging person who can
really make a connection with anyone,” said Mousin, who has worked with Pierce many times on condo sales. “Those
talents, along with his knowledge of the market and the network he has, really sets him apart from other realtors.”
One
of his recent customers, Chris Prescott, credits Pierce’s marketing and networking skills for the sale of his oceanfront
home for about $3.2 million earlier this year – made even more challenging considering Pierce was the listing agent
at the time when real estate values went through their most dramatic fall.
